Doris H. Walker, 81, homemaker, of S. Weymouth
Doris Honywill (Gordon) Walker of South Weymouth, a homemaker, died Friday at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth after a brief illness. She was 81.
Born in Boston, she moved to Braintree, where she attended Braintree High School. She also attended Glendale Junior College in California.
Mrs. Walker moved to South Weymouth, where she lived for 45 years.
She worked at the Quincy Shipyard as a programmer for 10 years.
She was the wife of the late Myles Walker and mother of the late Leland Kennedy and Lance Walker.
Mrs. Walker is survived by her daughter, My-Lesa McPartland of Weymouth; and a brother, Victor Gordon of Brockton.
Burial will be private.
Funeral arrangements by the Cremation Society of Massachusetts, Quincy.
Doris married Myles Walker.
