RANGELEY - W. Carlton Stansfield died Monday night at Western Maine Sanitorium, Hebron, after five years illness.
He was born November 28, 1900 at Millinocket, son of Guy and Jane Quince [sic] Stansfield. On May 23, 1926, he was married to Stella Haley.
Surviving are his widow; a son, Richard; his mother, Mrs. Jane Stansfield, Portland; two sisters, Mrs. Jane Varney; New Jersey; and Mrs. Majroie Hunton, New York; a brother, Herman, New York; one grandchild.
DIED - At Hebron, Sept. 14, W. Carleton Stansfield, aged 52 years. Funeral at Rowe's Funeral Parlors, Rangeley, Thursday morning, Sept. 17 at 10 o'clock. Rev. Charles Durgin officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at the Rowe Funeral Parlors Wednesday afternoon and evening.
