Gene Schofield Rites Tomorrow
EASTHAM -- Services will be held for Gene E. Schofield from the Nickerson Funeral Home, Eldredge Park Way, Orleans, tomorrow at 3 p.m. Schofield, of Meeting House Rd., died yesterday in an auto accident. He was 22.
A graduate of Nauset Regional High School, he attended Pasadena, Calif. Junior College and was studying engineering at Northeastern University.
He served in the Navy from 1961 to 1964. He was a member of the Hyannis Skin Diving Club and was employed in the family engineering firm, Schofield Brothers.
He leaves his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Schofield, and a brother, Jay E. of Bristol, N.H. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
