Gerry Cecere, of Buchanan, formerly of Ossining, died November 4, 2009. She was seventy-seven.
She was born in Boston on July 16, 1932 to Louis & Geraldine Hall Baia.
Gerry worked at the Finest Supermarket in Ossining for many years. She was pre-deceased by her husband Joe who died June 15, 1982 and sister Marie Forget.
Gerry is survived by her daughters Diane Hackert and husband Paul, Denise Mentrasti and husband Rob, Anne Tinsley, sons Joseph and wife Rosemarie, Gary & fiancée Heidi Chase, brothers Louis "Butch" Baia, Vinny Baia, William Baia, sisters Louise Prevete, Ann Antonelle, Margi Meredith, grandchildren Danielle Cahill and husband Sean, T.J. Haggerty, Joseph Haggerty, Lauren Griffin and husband Justin, David Haggerty, Nicole Cecere, Ashley Cecere, William Tinsley, Katie Cecere, Gary Cecere Jr., Kasie Cecere, Joseph Cecere III, and great-grandchildren Connor & Emma Cahill.
She will be reposing on Friday from 2:00-4:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m. at Leach & Thomas, Inc., 32 State Street, Ossining. Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church.
