MRS. MARGARET LINDSEY

Freeport, May 26 -- Mrs. Margaret Lindsey, 77, died at 3 a.m. Monday at her home, 617 West Douglas Street, after a long illness. She had resided in Freeport for about 21 years.

She was born in Englewood, Ill., Dec. 22, 1864, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christopher Crozier. She was married to Alva Lindsey in Paxton, Ill., Nov. 4, 1882.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Albert Klenke and Mrs. Henry Kinert, both of Freeport; a son, Charles Lindsey of Freeport; and two grandsons, Harry R. Kinert of Rockford and Billy Lindsey of Freeport.

Her husband, a daughter, and three sons preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the home. The Rev. Herbert T. Chenoweth, pastor of First Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the home after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
