• He served in the military during World War II. He received the Legion of Merit, the Cross of Military Velor, and a diploma from the Italian government which is equivalent to the United States Legion of Merit.

• He worked as a chiropractor. He was a partner with Dr. Frank C. Blake in the Outtrim Clinic at 731 W. Hickory.

• He appeared on the census in 1930 in Highland, Greene County, Iowa. He lived in the household of his parents.

• He had a residence at 2903 Wilsonwood in Denton, Denton County, Texas. He moved to Denton in 1948 and lived in the town for 11 years.

• He was a member of the International Chiropractic Association, Red River Chiropractic Society, the Elks Lodge, the board of stewards of the First United Methodist Church, past president of the church Bungalow Class. He was also a member of the board of directors of the Texas Chiropractic Research Society, the District State Association and Texas State Association of Chiropractors.



• His funeral was held at First Methodist Church with Dr. W.B. Slack, pastor, officiating 22 October 1959 in Denton, Denton County, Texas. Goen Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Honorary pallbearers were Donald Webb, Ray Holder, Dr. D.B. Whitehead, Nat Noles, Dr. F.B. Watts, J.W. Jagoe and J.D. Skidmore.



• He was buried at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Denton County, Texas.
