Ned Riley Bishop, 70, died Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Mary Caldwell, where he had been residing.

He was born at Leeds, Dec. 30, 1879, the son of Scott and Ellen Rackley Bishop. He married Myrtle Grant, Leeds, in 1899, who died 13 years ago. An only son, Reginald, 19, drowned in Androscoggin Lake some years past. Following the sons death, the pair moved to Lewiston, where they operated a restaurant for 17 years. After the death of his wife, Mr. Bishop returned to Wayne, where he had lived since.

He was a member of Wayne Grange and a past Shriner and member of the Monmouth Masons.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Laura Mower and Mrs. Glenn Libby, both of Greene.
