William Lawson
EDGEWATER - William S. Lawson, 81, of Needle Palm Drive, a sales promotion manager for Nestle's Company, died Friday at Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Daytona Beach.
Mr. Lawson, a Navy veteran of World War II, was born in Beverly, Mass., and moved to this area in 1979 from Crugers, N.Y. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, New Smyrna Beach, the Lions Club, New York, and played the saxophone in the dance band "Big O".
Survivors include his wife of 55 years, Julia; a son, William, Yorktown, N.Y.; a daughter, Cynthia Jackson, Edgewater; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
