Mrs. Lindsay is the seventh generation descended from Joseph Estabrook, who, born in England in 1640, was graduated at Harvard College in 1664. In 1667 he was ordained as the colleague of the Rev. Edward Bulkley, of Concord, Mass., and later succeeded Mr. bulkley as pastor. He died in 1711.
