NORTH LEEDS -- Mrs. Sadie Ethel Jennings, 85, died Wednesday morning at the OMG Hospital where she had been a patient three weeks.

She was born Dec. 26, 1881, in Turner, the daughter of Josiah and Tamson Doe Hobbs. She was educated in Leeds schools and was graduated from Leavitt Institute in 1902. Mrs. Jennings taught school in Leeds and South Portland. On Sept. 26, 1908, she was married to Daniel Jennings of Leeds who died in 1949.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Frank McManus and a son, Carl, both of Leeds; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

DIED -- In Lewiston, April 19, Mrs. Sadie Ethel Jennings of Leeds. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Bragdon-Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening. Interment Leeds Center Cemetery.
