ALBERT G. KLENKE DIES AT FREEPORT
Funeral Services Set For Monday

Freeport, Ill., Oct. 2 --
Albert G. Klenke, 58, 338 West Evelyn Street, died at 1:30 p.m. today at a Freeport hospital where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Born Feb. 13, 1884 at Scales Mound, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Klenke. He was educated in Scales Mound schools and in 1904 entered the employ of the Illinois Central railroad. He was promoted to engineer in 1910.

He was a trustee of the First Methodist Church of this city and a member of the I.O.O.F. here.

He is survived by his mother; two brothers, Lewis Klenke of Scales Mound and Ernest Klenke, Canada; and five sisters, Mrs. William White of Apple River, Mrs. Arthur Nordquist of Rockford, and Mrs. Emma Ross, Mrs. Alma Kailey and Mrs. Vaunmater, all of Freeport. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the First Methodist Church. The Rev. H.T. Chenoweth, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be on Oakland Cemetery.
