OLD TOWN --- Rowena Carey, 70, died Dec 30 in a Lincoln hospital after a short illness. She was born Sept. 12, 1903 in Grand Falls, N.B., the daughter of James and Catherine (Mulherin) McCormack. She was a member of the Somerset Hills Lutheran Church of Basking Ridge, N.J. and was a registered nurse. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Nada Flint, Freeport, and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Barton Funeral Home in Lincoln with the Rev. Edward Bristow officiating. Burial will be in Gould's Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag.
