JAMES L. CAREY
MEDWAY -- James L. Carey, 59, died Feb. 9, 1988, at a Millinocket hospital.
He was born in Mattawamkeag Aug. 20, 1928, the son of Henry and Frances (Packard) Carey. He was employed by Great Northern Paper Co. at East Millinocket until his retirement in 1974.
Surviving are his wife, Phyllis (Bragdon) Carey of Medway; three daughters, Mrs. Laurie Gagnon and Mrs. Lynn King, both of Medway and Mrs. Janice Rich of Lincoln.
Private funeral services for the family will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at James G. Dowd Funeral Home, East Millinocket. Spring burial will be in Grindstone Road Cemetery, Medway.
