MRS. GERTRUDE A. BISHOP
MILO -- Mrs. Gertrude H. Bishop, 81, died June 14 in a Waterville hospital.
She was born in Milo May 20, 1891, the daughter of John and Ella (Winship) Hanscom. She was the widow of Herbert Bishop. For many years she operated a rooming house in Waterville.
Surviving are a son, Arthur H. Bishop of Milo; two daughters, Mrs. Norman (Phyllis) Mallett of Plainsville, Conn., Mrs. Roger (Katherine) Maller of Farmingdale; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, Saturday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the family lot at Evergreen Cemetery, Milo. Friends may call at the Redington Funeral Home, Waterville, Thursday from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday at the Lary Funeral Home, Milo, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
