CHESTER K. BISHOP
ORLAND and LEWISTON -- Chester K. Bishop, 75, died at a Lewiston hospital June 11, 1979.
He was born in Ellsworth May 13, 1904, son of Maurice and Lizzy (Whitney) Bishop. He waned, trained and drove harness horses and in recent years was associate judge for the racing commission and a member of the U.S. Trotting Association.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of Lewiston, and a cousin, Arthur Bishop of Milo.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mitchell-Tweedie Funeral Home, Bucksport, the Rev. David Plank officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
