MILFORD -- Emma M. Carey, 58, a resident of the Bradley Road, died June 24, 1984, at a Bangor hospital after a long illness. She was born Dec. 14, 1925, in Old Town, the daughter of Lionel J. and Etta M. (Fogarty) Dubay. She was educated in Old Town schools, had been employed at the Ounegan Woolen Mill and later as a hand sewer at area shoe factories. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bradley, the VFW Post No. 3381 Ladies Auxiliary of Old Town. She is survived by her husband, Clarence N. Carey of Milford; two sons, Wayne of Old Town and William of Greenbush; four daughters, Mrs. Malcolm (Donna) Ambrose of Huntingdon, Pa., Mrs. Philip (Sharon) Malanson of Milford, Mrs. David (Wanda) Adams of Belfast and Mrs. Randy (Tonia) Nason of Yuma, Ariz.; four brothers, Arthur Dubay of New Bedford, Mass., Charles Dubay of Old Town, Ernest Dubay of Milford and Albert Dubay of Fayetteville, N.C.; three sisters, Margaret Carey and Geneva Carey, both of Greenbush, and Gloria Rugan of Milford; 13 grandchildren, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by four brothers and one granddaughter. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Ann's Catholic Church, Bradley, with the Rev. Normand MacPherson S.S.S. officiating. Interment will be in Gould's Ridge Cemetery, Passadumkeag. Relatives and friends may call at the Baillargeon Funeral Home, 109 Middle St., Old Town, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. The VFW Auxiliary will hold a chapel service 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The family suggests that contributions in her memory be made to either the EMMC Cancer-Tumor Clinic, EMMC 489 State St., Bangor 04401 in care of James Coffey or Hospice, St. Joseph Hospital, 297 Center St., Bangor 04401.
