George A. Lindsay, who his had a serious time with blood poisoning in his hand and arm, is reported a little better. His hand and arm has been cut open three times and for a number of days his case was a critical one.

George Albert Lindsay, 71, died at an Augusta hospital Friday morning. he had lived much of his life in North Monmouth.

He was born here, June 23, 1880, son of Everett and Eliza Berry Lindsay. He formerly operated a grocery at North Monmouth, and for many years was superintendent of the Winthrop Woolen Mill there. Mr. Lindsay was a member of Monmouth Lodge of Masons.

Besides his widow, the former Mildred Gowen, he leaves three sons, Albert, Mountain Lakes, N.J., Gordon, New Haven, Conn., and Major Andrew Lindsay, Langley Field, Va.; a half-sister, Mrs. Josephine Walker, Spencerport, N.Y.; and five grandchildren.

In Augusta, May 16, George Albert Lindsay of North Monmouth. Funeral services will be held from his late residence, North Monmouth, Sunday at 1 o'clock. Interment at Glenside Cemetery, Winthrop.
