The funeral services of W.B. Sumner were held at his late residence Thursday, under the auspices of the Monmouth lodge of Masons. The deceased has long been a respected citizen of the town, having served for several years as one of the selectman. He has ever been a prominent Democrat and a power in his party. He leaves a widow and three children, Mrs. Dr. Russell of Lewiston, Mrs. Geo. Wills of Auburn, and Robert who is at home.
