NORTH LEEDS -- Harry C. Lindsay, 70, died Friday at Pease Nursing Home, Auburn, where he had been a patient several weeks.

He was born at Leeds, Nov. 6, 1892, the son of Lewis L. and Flora Curtis Lindsay. He attended Leeds schools and Monmouth Academy. In 1917, he married Edna Additon, Leeds. A Golden Sheaf member of Leeds Grange, he was a member of Leeds Community Church, where he sang in the choir.

Besides his widow, he leaves three daughters, Mrs. Lenora Clifford, Calais; Mrs. Una Kazilionis, Portland; Mrs. Genice Bugal, Lewiston; and nine grandchildren.

DIED -- In Auburn, Dec. 7, Harry C. Lindsay, 70. Leeds funeral services will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. at the Bragdon-Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, Rev. Carl Geores Jr. officiating. Friends may call Saturday afternoon and evening. Interment at Leeds Center Cemetery.
