Wendall Tinkham

WALES -- Wendall B. Tinkham, 75, retired farmer, died suddenly at his home on Ridge Road early Thursday morning. He had been a resident here for the past 40 years.

Born at Monmouth, Oct. 28, 1887, he was he son of Frank and Martha Brewster Tinkham and was a member of Monmouth Lodge, K of P, and the Wales Grange.

He is survived by three sons, Eugene, Mechanic Falls; Wendall Jr., Auburn; and Melvin of this town; a brother, Melville B. Tinkham, Auburn two sisters, Lillian Gallagher and Miss Florence A., both of Lewiston; eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

DIED -- in Wales, Maine April 4, 1963, Wendall B. Tinkham, age 75. Funeral services will be attended at the Teague & Jenkins Funeral Home, Saturday April 6 at 3:30 p.m. Interment at Maxwell Cemetery, East Wales. Friends may call at Teague & Jenkins Thursday evening 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.

Wendall next married Minnie M. Cook, daughter of Simon Edgar Cook and Mary Jane Warren, 30 June 1934 in Maine.⁵⁰⁶² (Minnie M.
