SAMUEL E. JOWETT
AUGUSTA -- Samuel E. Jowett, 93, of Wayne, died Wednesday at Kennebec Valley Medical Center.
He was born at Birmingham, England, the son of Walter and Emily Jowett. On April 27, he celebrated 66 years of marriage to the former Tessie Fish. He owned and operated a garage in Wayne since 1925. Mr. Jowett and his wife drove school buses in the Wayne/Winthrop area for many years. He was a long time member of the Oddfellows.
Survivors include his wife; and two brothers, Bernard Jowett of Edgewater, Md., and Leonard Jowett of Mexico.

JOWETT -- at Augusta, April 30, 1986, Samuel E. Jowett, age 93, of Wayne. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. from Roberts Funeral Home, 26 Bowdoin St., Winthrop, where friends may call Friday 6 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to the American Heart Association, Maine Affiliate, Inc., PO Box 346, Augusta, Maine, 04330.
