Simpson Downs ⁵⁹⁰⁰

   Cause of his death was tuberculosis caused by a gunshot wound from 10 years prior.

He was the son of Ichabod Downs and Susan Worster.

Simpson married Martha Stanley. (Martha Stanley was born 2 October 1858 in Prentiss, Penobscot County, Maine,²⁶⁹ died 15 August 1915 in Springfield, Penobscot County, Maine ²⁵² and was buried 17 August 1915 in Springfield, Penobscot County, Maine at Tucker Ridge Cemetery ²⁵².) The cause of her death was uremia (kidney failure) with the cholera as contributing cause.
