Another possible candidate in Ward One is William Donovan Jr., 17 Walker Ave., former local hockey player and hockey coach. Robert Peabody has taken out nominations papers as a Ward One candidate.

The Ward One council seat is being vacated by Roland R. Marcotte who is a mayoralty candidate this year.
