BRADFORD A. KNAPP

New Sharon, July 30 -- Bradford A. Knapp passed away this morning at his home here after an illness.

He was born in Leeds, March 9, 1857, and came here as a young man. His first wife, Edna [sic] Gordon, died many years ago, and about 35 years ago he married Rena [sic] Gordon of this town who survives him.

Other survivors include a sister in Colorado and two nephews, Charles Durgin of Harpswell and Archie Durgin of Portland.

(Etta Gordon was born about 1855 in East Livermore, Androscoggin County, Maine, died 2 January 1898 in East Livermore, Androscoggin County, Maine ²⁵² and was buried after 2 January 1898 in East Livermore, Androscoggin County, Maine ²⁵².) The cause of her death was consumption.

Bradford next married Lena Bell Gordon, daughter of Cyrus S. Gordon and Caroline A. Bragdon, 8 March 1902 in Farmington, Franklin County, Maine.²⁵³ (Lena Bell Gordon was born 2 October 1873 in New Sharon, Franklin County, Maine ^930,931 and died 21 October 1942 in Farmington, Franklin County, Maine ⁹³¹.)
