Weston Robinson

Weston Robinson was born in Howland, Maine on May 14, 1924 to Edwin and Janie Robinson. He passed away on January 14, 2007 in Snohomish, Washington.

Weston married Margaret Conlon in 1946 and they moved to the Snohomish area where they lived for more than 50 years.

Weston served in the US Marines in WWII to help liberate Guam. He served from December 3, 1942 to December 19, 1945 and spent two years overseas as a Heavy AA 90 mm Gun Crewman and worked at Scott Paper Company for 26 years until retirement.

He enjoyed golfing, fishing, hunting, bowling, camping and spending family time at Thousand Trails in Leavenworth, Washington. His greatest joy was bringing laughter to his family and friends.

Weston was preceded in death by his wife, of 57 years, Margaret; and grandson, Cameron.

Weston is survived by his five children, Sharon Robinson, of Sedro Woolley, WA, Carol DeRosier (Bob), of Mill Creek, WA, Kathy Robinson, of Lake Stevens, WA, Weston (Lisa) Robinson, of Snohomish, John Robinson, of Everett, and his "adopted" daughter, Andrea Kirk. He also leaves his grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew and Marc Sampson, Trevor, Lucas and Megan Robinson, Gretchen King and Charity Vale; his great-grandchildren, Colby, Sawyer and Harrison King, Sara, Taylor, Jeffrey and Cameron Sampson, Maggie, Joelle and Carlie Vale and Makenzie Robinson; nephew and great-niece, Dalton and Debbie Merrill.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, January 22, 2007, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5511-64th S.E., Snohomish. Reception will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Weston's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 12721-30th Avenue N.E., Suite 101, Seattle, WA 98125.
