Allen C. 'CoCo' Coffin
LEE - Allen Charles 'CoCo' Coffin, 51, died April 10, 1994, at his home. He was born in Lee, Dec. 13, 1942, the son of Alton Allen and Ada Ora (McNamara) Coffin.
He was a graduate of Lee Academy. A mechanic for several years, he had been associated with and part owner of Coffin's Used Cars. He enjoyed stock car racing and motorcycling.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Joan of Lee; two daughters, Holly Coffin and Virginia Coffin, both of Lincoln; five grandchildren, Joshua Coffin, Sunshine Coffin, Nicholas Shaw, Jesse Allen Shaw and Kristin Fitzpatrick; five brothers and sisters, Brenda and her husband, Gene Cramer of Lee, Yolanda Foster of Norway, Frederick and his wife, Rose Coffin of Lincoln, Robin Felmey and Joanne Coffin, both of Lee; several nieces and nephews. He also leaves a special friend Doleen Dubay.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Clay, Stevens & Clay Funeral Home, Lincoln, with the Rev. Ritch Grimes officiating. Interment will be Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee, at a later date.
