GILPATRICK, Rex E., 83, died Jan. 5 at Augusta after a long illness. He was born at Danforth, July 25, 1889, the son of Ora and Carrie Trask Gilpatrick, he was associated with the State of Maine Forestry Department for over 40 years.

He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Alice Nute of Augusta, one son, Ora, of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother, Victor (Bun) Gilpatrick of St. Petersburg, Fla.

Friends are requested to omit flowers. Funeral services will be conducted at Dunn Funeral Home, Houlton, Saturday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Kenneth Sawyer. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery.
