Charles Hammond

   Cause of his death was disease of the bowels.

He was the son of Ebeneazer Hammond and Jeanette Pettingill.

Charles married Mercena F. Vorris. (Mercena F. Vorris was born in June 1832 in Wayne, Kennebec County, Maine ⁶⁹⁹⁵ and died 8 October 1909 in Livermore, Androscoggin County, Maine ²⁵².) The cause of her death was paralysis following fracture of hip by falling down stairs.
