MARGARET C. GORDON
LINCOLN -- Margaret C. Gordon, 86, died July 11 at a Lincoln hospital. She was born March 13, 1888 at Lamoine, daughter of William and Ada Eastman Springer. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary of Lincoln and a former member of the Rebekahs.
Surviving are two sons, James of Lincoln, and Charles of Manchester, Conn.; four daughters, Mrs. John (Eva) Kellerhouse, Wallingford, Conn., Mrs. Clayton (Elsie) Handy, Bangor, Mrs. Almon (Bernice) Haynes and Mrs. Robert (Charlotte) Haskell, Lincoln; 18 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Barton Funeral Home, Lincoln. Interment will be in the Lincoln Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Friday between 2 and 4 and 7 and 9 p.m.
