BEVERLY L. (O'BRIEN) LINDSAY

BANGOR -- Beverly L. (O'Brien) Lindsay, 76, wife of the late Kenneth L. Lindsay, Sr., died Oct. 8, 2000 at a local nursing facility. She was born May 7, 1924 in Springfield, the daughter of Jerry and Daisy (Stevens) O'Brien.

Beverly is survived by four sons, Kenneth "Butch" L. Lindsay, Jr. and his wife Marie of Hampden, Dale S. Lindsay and his wife Pam of Bangor, Terrance A. Lindsay of Bangor, Douglas S. Lindsay and his wife Minda of Holden; two daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Marshman of Bangor and Kathleen Lindsay of Bangor; eight grandchildren, Joseph, Jessica, Daniel, Brian, Michelle, Kara and McKayla Lindsay and Andrew Ford; one great-granddaughter, Brianna Lindsay; one sister, Margaret Fenlason of Bangor; and one special niece, Delanne Atwood of Monroe. She was predeceased by her son, Ivan Lee Lindsay of Westwood, Mass.

A private graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor. Gifts in her memory may be sent to Phillips-Strickland House, 21 Boyd St., Bangor. A service of Brookings-Smith, Bangor.
