TURNER -- Joseph L. Samson, 30, of Birchview Drive, died Tuesday as the result of a snowmobile accident.
He was born in Lewiston, Aug. 31, 1960, the son of Joseph R. and Arelene Hinkley Samson. He had been employed as an electrician by Renaud Electric Co. of Lewiston and was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and all other outdoor activities. He was engaged to Melinda Yoaland of Turner.
Survivors include two daughters, Heather Samson of Greene and Danyelle Samson of Turner; his mother of Turner; a brother, Alan Samson of Turner; and his maternal grandfather, Percival Hinkley of Turner and Pinellas Park, Fla. He was predeceased by his father and brother, Curtis, who died in 1981.
SAMSON -- Died in Lewiston, February 19, 1991, Joseph L. Samson, age 30, of Birchview Drive, Turner. Memorial service will be held Saturday, 10 a.m., at his mother's home, Arlene Samson, RFD #2, Turner. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Turner Rescue, c/o Laurel Gagnon, Turner, Me. At the family's request, there will be no visiting hours. Arrangements by Pinette Funeral Home, 87 Bartlett Street, Lewiston.
