Passed away Sunday evening, September 22, 1985, at Maccabee Gardens. Age 75 years. He was born Oct. 5, 1909 in Ohio. He married atherne Cavallaro May 18, 1933 in Detroit. She survives him. He was of the Lutheran Faith.

Prior to his retirement in 1975 he had worked at Essex Wire Company for 25 years and then Ferndale Public School System for 15 years.

Surviving besides his wife are one son and two daughters. Charltes T. Lindsey, Saginaw; Mrs. Paul (Annette) Granville, Williamsville, New York; Mrs. Barbara Carron, Farmington Hills, Mich.; 11 grandchildren; two sisters and one brother, Margaret Schmitz, Grant Park, Ill.; Jane MacMullen, Walnut Creek, Cal.; Paul Lindsey, Houston, Texas; also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 25, 1985, at the Wakeman Funeral Home, 1218 N. Michigan Ave. Pastor Paul R. Beck will officiate with interment in White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, Mich. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. Those who so desire may make memorials to Valley Lutheran High School.
