GREENE -- Elton W. Libby, 77, died unexpectedly Tuesday at the Central Maine Medical Center.
He was born in Greene, May 20, 1903, the son of Melville G. and Glen Bishop Libby. He was educated in Greene schools and was maintenance man for B. Peck Co. for many years, retiring in 1965.

LIBBY -- In Lewiston, Dec. 16, 1980, Elton W. Libby, age 77. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Bragdon-Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, where friends may call Wednesday 7 to 9 p.m. Interment in the spring at Keene's Corner Cemetery.
