Lester Merrill

LEEDS --
Lester M. Merrill, 81, died at CMG Hospital, Wednesday night, after a short illness.

He was born April 18, 1894, in Leeds, son of Edwin and Carrie Thomas Merrill. He was educated in Leeds and was employed by the Massachusetts Bay Transit Authority until his retirement. He was a member of Pine Tree Showmen Association.

Survivors include a son, Allen, Seaford, Va.; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

MERRILL -- in Boston, Mass., June 18, 1975, Mr. Lester M. Merrill, age 81. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 12:30 p.m. at the Bragdon Flanders Funeral Home, Monmouth, where friends may call Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment River Grove Cemetery, Leeds.
