GEORGE HOLT
Madison, May 15 -- George Holt died at his home on Gray Street Sunday afternoon after a critical illness of only a few hours. Mr. Holt had been in poor health for several years but has been able to be around. Mr. Holt came to this vicinity 36 years ago and has been a resident of Madison or Anson practically all of the time since. He was a native of Blue Hill and was 68 years old.
Mr. Holt is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Alonzo Brown of Pittsfield, Mrs. Maurice Nute of Madison, Mrs. Mildred Chipman of New Portland; one son, Stephen Holt of Blue Hill.
