AUGUSTA -- Mrs. Eleanor Ruth Owens, 69, of 25 Gannett St., died Friday morning in a local nursing home.
She was born Oct. 21, 1904 in Madison, the daughter of Fred E. and Myra F. Knapp Daggett. She was the widow of J. Miles Owens. She was a member of the South Parish Congregational Church, the Women's Guild of the Church, Meneuvre Chapter OES, Madison, Augusta General Hospital Auxiliary and was a member and past president of the Augusta Study Club.
Surviving is a nephew.
