VIVIAN T. GORDON

MATTAWAMKEAG -- Vivian T. Gordon, 97, wife of the late Floyd E. Gordon, died Oct. 20, 1994, in Lincoln.

She was born in Mattawamkeag, July 16, 1897, the daughter of Lester J. and Nina T. (Thompson) Kyle. She was a life member of Pine Grove Chapter, O.E.S. of Mattawamkeag, being a member for more than 75 years.

She is survived by a daughter, Beverly Smith of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, Lester W. Gordon of Lincoln; two granddaughters, Donna Jean Milligan and Cheryl O. Burnsed, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandsons, Leslie E. Smith of Miami, Fla., Donald B. Smith, Dana F. Smith, Lester E. Gordon and Calvin O. Gordon, all of Jacksonville, Fla.; six great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a son, Calvin; and a grandson, Floyd.

Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Saturday at the Clay Funeral Home in Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with the Rev. Mark York officiating. Interment will be in Mattawamkeag Cemetery. Those who wish may donate in her memory to Colonial Acres Activity Fund. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
