KENNETH C. JONES
BRADFORD -- Kenneth C. Jones, 61, died Aug. 20 at the Veterans hospital at Togus after a short illness.
He was born at Bradford, Sept. 12, 1909, the son of Herbert and Georgiana (Goodhue) Jones. He was a member of Bradford Baptist Church and a veteran of World War Two. He was also a member of the Down Brown Leavitt Post, VFW, of Charleston.
A graduate of Bradford High School and had been a lifelong resident of Bradford.
Survivors include his widow, Dorothy (Chase) of Bradford; three sons, Stephen of Bangor, and Kendall and Barry of Bradford; three brothers, Harvey of DeBary, Fla., and Donald of East Holden and Dwight of Riverside, Calif.; five sisters, Mrs. Hazel Birch of Delmar, N.J., Mrs. Arthur (Doris) Hanson of Bradford, Mrs. Judson (Ina) Luro of Bath, Mrs. Clyde (Verda) Booker of Hermond, and Noreen Jones of Bradford; one grandson and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Bradford Baptist Church with the Rev. Clarence Booker officiating.
Burial will be in Williams Cemetery at Bradford.
Friends may call at Thompson Funeral Home at East Corinth Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
