RICHARD "RICKY" SAMUEL WEATHERBEE

LINCOLN and MILLINOCKET --
Richard "Ricky" Samuel Weatherbee, 71, died April 14, 2006, at the Maine Veterans' Home in Bangor.

He was born Oct. 15, 1934, in Lincoln, the son of Robert B. and Beulah (Kneeland) Weatherbee.

Ricky graduated from Mattanawcook Academy in 1953. He served two enlistments in the U.S. Army, one in New Foundland and Labrador, and the other in the States. He retired in 1999 from the Great Northern Paper Company in East Millinocket. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening and the out of doors.

He leaves his companion of several years, Iola McCleary of Millinocket; one daughter LeeAnne Adams of Lincoln; three sons, Timothy and Jeffery, both of Wiscasset and Richard of Lincoln; a foster son, Christopher St. Louis of Dixmont; the mother of his sons, Marilyn (Carr) Weatherbee of Enfield; grandchildren, Jessica Weatherbee, Devan, Kamryn and Jordan Knott, Jason and Laura Weatherbee, Dylan Weatherbee, Mason St. Louis, Justin and Sara Adams and Hayden and Ardyn Weatherbee; a brother, Robert Jack Weatherbee of Lincoln; a sister, Sally Weatherbee of Bath; many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Donald.

Friends may call 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Clay Funeral Home, 7 Lee Rd., Lincoln. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Lincoln Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Activities Fund at the Maine Veterans Home, Bangor. Donations may be left at the funeral home.
