FORT FAIRFIELD
Mrs. Lillian Kent Parker, 93, died March 31, in a Houlton hospital. She was born at Burnt Land Brook, N.B. on April 26, 1881, daughter of Thomas and Dianne (Porter) Jenkins.
She was a member of the Good Will Club of Mars Hill. A member of the Town and County Senior Citizens of Houlton, and a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Fort Fairfield.
Survived by one daughter, Mrs. John (Kathleen) Peters, Houlton; one son, Emery Kent, Fort Fairfield; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Queenie Porter, Mars Hill, Mrs. Ethel Gordon, Red Deer, Alberta, Mrs. Vesta Gallupe, Swift Current, Sask.; one brother, George Jenkins, Plainville, Conn., several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dorsey Funeral Home, Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Bethel Baptist Church, Rev. Sherwood Sawyer officiating. Spring interment will be in the family lot in Riverside Cemetery.
