DORIS CAMPBELL LARRABEE

PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA. -- Doris Campbell Larrabee, 94, passed away on Jan 2, 2007 at St Lucie Medical Center in Port St. Lucie. Doris was born on April 2, 1912 in Masardis, ME. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Olive (Theriault) Campbell.

Doris moved with her family to Washburn, ME in 1926, where she graduated from Washburn High School in 1930. She attended Ricker Classical Institute and Colby College. She returned to Washburn, helping in her mother's beauty shop and then working in the Town Manager's Office from 1935\endash 1948.

In 1949, Doris married Willard (Tom) Larrabee and they founded Larrabee Insurance Agency.

Retiring to Florida in 1969, they lived first in Avon Park and then Ft. Lauderdale for twenty-five years. She moved to Port St Lucie in 1995.

Predeceased by her husband, Tom, in 1994, Doris is survived by her daughter Beth. She will be greatly missed by many loving friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sat Jan 6th at St Bernadette Catholic Church in Port St Lucie at 11:30 a.m. with interment at Crouseville Cemetery in the spring.
