EBEN A. OSGOOD, SR.

SUNRISE, Fla. -- Eben A. Osgood, Sr., 73, died April 22 at Plantation General Hospital, Plantation, Fla, after a short illness.

He was born Aug. 15, 1900 in Kingman, Maine, the son of Henry Prentiss and Theo (Larrabee) Osgood. He was a former owner of the Osgood House in Mattawamkeag, Maine, moving to Hollywood, Fla. 26 years ago.

He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Osgood of Sunrise, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. William (Ellie) Goodspeed of Bucksport, Me., Mrs. Edward (Hope) Hazelwood of Fort Ord, Calif., and Robin Osgood of Sunrise, Fla.; three sons, Charles R. of Winthrop, Me., Eben A. Osgood, Jr. of Orono, Me. and Henry P. of Yorba Linda, Calif.; a brother, Herbert L. Osgood of Millinocket; 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
