Johanna (Reischl) Smitten, died Nov. 19, 2005, and Eugene Smitten, formerly of St. Cloud, died May 13, 2006, in Tacoma, WA.
A memorial service will be held June 11 at 12 p.m. at the Eastside VFW, 104 Franklin Ave. NE, St. Cloud. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Weber of Lake Forest Park, WA; sons Gerald (Agnes Otremba formerly of Buckman) Smitten of St. Cloud and Michael Smitton of Steilacoom/Tacoma, WA; two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; two sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law.
