Marian J. Lindsey
RIO - Marian J. Lindsey, 90, Rio, died Thursday (March 3, 2005) in the Marigold Health Care Center, Galesburg.
She was born Nov. 27, 1914, in North Henderson, the daughter of Frank and Ada Swanson Nelson.
She married Rolland E. Lindsey on May 4, 1935, in Galesburg. He died in 1977.
Surviving are two sons, Kent (and Lynne) Lindsey, Orland Park, and Charles (and Diane) Lindsey, Rio; one sister; Dorothy Brown, Woodhull; four grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
She graduated from Alexis high School. She was a homemaker.
Family graveside service is at 10 .m. Monday in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, Galesburg. There will be no visitation. Peterson-Wallin-Knox Funeral Home, Alpha, is in charge of arrangements.
