Kenneth Legan
ONARGA - Kenneth R. Legan, 75, of Onarga died at 2:30 a.m. Sunday (Feb. 27, 2005) at Iroquois Memorial Hospital, Watseka.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Onarga Christian Church, 309 W. Seminary Ave., Onarga. The Rev. James Small will officiate. Burial will be in Onarga Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Knapp Funeral Home, 115 W. Seminary St., Onarga, is handling arrangements.
Mr. Legan was born Jan. 30, 1930, in Chebanse, a son of Ernest and Gladys Newcomb Legan. He married Donna Lindsay on June 25, 1950, in Onarga. She died May 24, 1995.
Survivors include a son, Thomas Legan of Hoffman Estates; a daughter, Patti Ehrhardt of Watseka; a sister, Arlis White of Wingate, Ind.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and two sons.
He was a retired farmer and a member of Onarga Christian Church.
He was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals.
Memorials may be made to Prairie States Christian Camp, Watseka, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
