D. Gertrude Darbyshire, 95, formerly of Washington, died Monday, Oct. 19, 1998, in Parkview Home, Wayland, after a lingering illness. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jones & Eden Funeral Home, Washington, by the Rev. Richard Boyd. Burial: Elm Grove Cemetery. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Survivors include two sons, Lyle and Allen, both of Washington.
