Funeral Set for Lorena Jacobs, 89


Memorial services for Lorena Jacobs, 89, former English teacher and dean of women at Spokane University, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the University Christian Church. Entombment will be in Spokane. She died Tuesday.

Mrs. Jacobs was active in Woman's Christian Temperance Union, Camp Fire Girls, the Christian Women's Fellowship and the United Christian Missionary Society.

Mrs. Jacobs had lived here 35 years.

Surviving are a daughter with whom she lived, Olga Feroe, Seattle and two sons, Hugh, Mesa, Ariz. and H. Dale Jacobs, St. Louis.

Remembrances are suggested to the Northwest Bible University, Eugene, Oregon.

Yarington's White Center Funeral Home is in charge.
