Olga Jacobs Takes Nuptial Vows Today


The Ambassador room of the Spokane hotel will be the setting tonight of the wedding of Miss Olga Jacobs of this city to Jerome K. Feroe of Everett. The bride's father, the Rev. Roy C. Jacobs, assisted by Dean Ellis B. Harris of Spokane Junior College, will officiate. The ceremony will be at 8:30, and the bride will be given in marriage by her brother, Hugh Jacobs, principal of the Valleyford Schools.

Miss Jacobs has chosen Mrs. Earl Herning of Clarkston to be her matron of honor, and Miss Dorothie Schutz of Lind, the bridesmaid. Mr. Feroe's best man will be Russell O'Grady of Kent. The bride's nephew, James Jacobs of Chehalis, will be the ring bearer, and her niece, Barbara Halverson, the flower girl. The ushers will be H. Dale Jacobs, the bride's brother, and Russell Feroe of Kent, Mr. Feroe's brother.

The wedding music will be played by Miss Margaret Platt, and the soloist will be the bride's sister-in-law, Mrs. Boyd Jacobs of Chehalis.

An informal reception will follow, and presiding over the punch bowl will be Mrs. F.D. Muse, assisted by Mr. Feroe's aunt, Mrs. R.C. Valley.

Both young people are known to a wide circle of friends here. Miss Jacobs attended Spokane University and Washington State College, majoring in music, and she also studied music at teacher's college in Victoria, B.C.

Mr. Feroe, assistant manager for the Block Shoe Store at Everett, was formerly with the Block Shoe Store here. They will live at Everett.

Age 73, died Thursday June 25, 1987. Survived by her husband, Jerome; sons, Terry Feroe, of Bellingham; Brent Feroe, of Burien; daughter, Tracy Johnson, of Redmond; brothers, Hugh Jacobs, of Mesa, Arizona and H. Dale Jacobs, of The Bay Area; five grandchildren. No formal services were planned. Remembrances may be made to the American Cancer Society.
