Roy I. Millett
NORWAY - Roy I. Millett, 49, employed for the last 20 years in the lumber business by Walter Cullinan, died at his work Tuesday morning.
Born July 23, 1904 at Norway, he was the son of Eugene and Rosa Newcomb Millett. He married Alice Back in April 1929. He had been a life resident of Norway.
He is survived by his wife; four daughters, Virginia R., Concord, N.H., Kathlene A. Kanaugh, Bethel, Mildred I., Lucille L., Norway; a step-daughter, Mrs. Mary Larson, Norway; seven sons, Raymond H., stationed in Korea, Robert E., Ralph L., Charlie F., William A., Lawrence A., Donald W., Norway; a step-son, Harry Taulbee, Fresno, Calif.; three brothers, Horace E., Leland A., Norway and Harold F., New Haven, Conn.; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Roy married Alice Back 19 April 1929 in Maine 9716.,9717 (Alice Back was born 13 February 1904 in Quicksand, Breathitt County, Kentucky,9716 died 23 March 1973 in Lewiston, Androscoggin County, Maine 9716,9721 and was buried after 23 March 1973 in Auburn, Androscoggin County, Maine at Gracelawn Memorial Park 9716.)
