Funeral services for Mrs. Lora Belle Squires, who died Tuesday at her home, 2315 42nd Ave. N., were held in Steptoe, Whitman County yesterday under the direction of the Bonney-Watson Mortuary.
Mrs. Squires was born April 17, 1899 in Thornton, Whitman County. She had lived in Steptoe most of her life. She came to Seattle less than a year ago for medical treatment. She was a member of Victory Chapter No. 161, Order of the Eastern Star, of Opportunity, Spokane County, and the Spokane Valley Court, Order of Amaranth of Millwood, Spokane County.
She is survived by her husband, Roy M. of Steptoe; two daughters, Rita and Maxine Squires of Steptoe; a sister, Mrs. Ida Churchwell, Steptoe; a siter, Mrs. Roy Smith and a brother, Jay McGuire of Colfax; and two brothers, Leslie and George McGuire of Thornton.
